I'm in and nowI have inspired my oldest child Anthony, who will be 25 yrs old this Thursday, August 23 to return to college. He has mentioned to me that when he did attend ITT Tech to become an Automotive Technician, He really did not see the importance of a college education. Moreover, now that he has a three-year old daughter, he has clearly experienced the necessity of earning a degree for any professional field you desire. Unfortunately, considering he is currently employed and earning $18 a hour he has not been as motivational as he should be when it comes to taking the steps, in continuing to getting earn his remaining credits for his Associates Automotive Technology. In addition, to currently working, living on his own, in his own place, he takes care of my granddaughter faithfully on a monthly basis. He is really doing well by himself; however, furthering your education is always a great investment in one’s self being.

I'm in and nowI’m questioning my value as a human being in this society. I feel that the school system should help their students succeed in getting on the right track to what career field they want. I have went to 5 universities and it appears that they are only interested in making a profit and I have not once experienced a career services department to help me on my journey. Ironically, from personal experience, I am a really good at writing resumes and assist others in obtaining positions in the regular world and in the government field. I was volunteering for American Red Cross and the Department of Human Services but they became too much for me because I also work under the table for odd jobs here and there. Now I am learning software engineering from CTU online.
