Employer: Colorado Technical University

Job Title: University Dean of Allied Health and Department Chair of Health Sciences and Security Studies - Sioux Falls

I'M IN AND NOW I ensure our students receive the best education possible at CTU.

Describe your educational and professional background.

I started out my educational and professional background as a nurse. I've always had a strong interest in advancing my own education and pursued a Master's Degree in Nursing shortly after graduating with my Bachelor's degree. Wanting to further expand my professional opportunities, I decided to get my law degree. I have worked as a nurse, lawyer, magistrate judge and educator.

How do you use this experience to help CTU students achieve their goals?

I love sharing my experiences with students and helping them to learn. Because of my varied professional background and connections, I can assist students to identify their own interests and help them to make connections to begin their professional experiences.

What impresses you most about CTU students?

Our students have a drive to succeed and appreciate the real-world experiences that our educational model provides.
